8A-1 Out of bounds and course boundaries

All boundary fences, on or inside any sheds and the car park inside the kerbing are out of bounds. 

8E-10 Special relief procedures

Protection of planted trees
Protected trees are planted trees under 2 club lengths in height, which have been staked or netted.
If a player’s ball lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the players stance or area of intended swing, the player must take relief under rules 16.1f.

8F-1 Ground under repair

Drains
Ground under repair in the drains on the 4th, 5th, 7th, 12th,14th & 15th are defined by the area bordered by white pegs. If the area of drain bordered by white pegs interferes with the players swing or stance, the player may take relief under Rule 16.1b.
The GUR is continuous from the Right hand side of the 1st drain on the 7th to the Left hand side of 15th drain.

Greens keeper’s workings
Greens keepers working and machine tyre tracks are to be treated as ground under repair.
If a player’s ball is in the general area and there is interference from greens keeper machine workings or tyre tracks, the player may take relief under Rule 16.1b.

Bird damage
Bird damage on the green is to be treated as ground under repair from which free relief is allowed under Rule 16.1d. Relief is also available when the bird damage is on the players line.
Interference does not exist if the bird damage only interferes with the players stance.
