The 2022 Farmers Charity Golf Day was held on 18th February with the event again achieving a wonderful outcome. On the day we had 196 players take part in a 4 Ball Ambrose event which created a day of fun and entertainment.
This day has been designed to provide a social experience for our rural community, to provide our Golf Club with a major fund raiser and to support local charities that provide our district with immeasurable service in times of need. This year’s event we donated $14,000 to our charity recipients ($10,000 to RFDS, $4,000 to CFS). As a Club we are immensely proud of this outcome with this event now realising donations of over $90,000 since it began 8 years ago. The success of this day is clearly underpinned by the generosity of our sponsors who have embraced this event and we cannot thank you enough for your continued support.
This was a wonderful achievement by everyone involved and endorsed the importance of these organisations and the role they play in our community. We thank you for being involved and look forward to your support again in 2023.
